I’ve finished thumbnailing most of the pages and have completed pencils and inks for the very first page yesterday. I have a month and a half to illustrate 30 pages, a daunting task but quite possible. Ideally, I’d like to produce a page a day, which is not that easy, considering my full-time job and fulltime girlfriend, but I’m experimenting with new inking techniques which will speed up the process. Needless to say, I won’t be toning the pages the same way I did for my previous contribution in Tales #9, which involved a time consuming zipatone effect. I’ll keep you posted and put up occasional finished penciled pages in the weeks to come!
