The design for this Negative Format release was pretty literal, working off the lyrics “static in their eyes”. I simply reworked a photograph to make the model into an articifial looking android.

It was only fitting that this remix album feature art remixed from the art of the remixed album.

This is my only design done for a local Montreal artist, my good friend Michel, the non-confused mind behind Mind Confusion. 3D art done with Bryce 3D, then heavily laden with Photoshop effects. The end result is an epic starship advancing through the abyss of space (well, that’s how I see it…)

Another full vector design, for my own compilation this time. I initially contacted several electronic artists whose music I enjoyed and these are the 15 that made the compilation. I asked each artist to compose a piece inspired by my Zombie Commandos comic. Some created atmospheric/horror/ambient/soundtrack music, others made use of horror and war samples, others put the comic’s story into lyrics and some even sampled my own voice as I quoted from the comic’s dialog (with vocal effects of course). The end result is a mix of harsh electro-ebm, some trancy ebm, dark ambient, noize and drone music. Co-released by Geska Records and Optikon Records.

Designed for a spiritual themed compilation for Geska Records, I designed this using Kabbalah images, mixed together into a dark montage.

Designed for Artoffact Records, this was my first full vector design, completely designed with Adobe Illustrator, including CD face.

I designed this record cover in 2005 for an electronic industrial/ambient/noize compilation. I reworked the photography of Kendall Anderson into a gritty design for this deluxe package.
Every year, since 2002, Geska Records has released a thematic compilation to explore new horizons found between Arts and Science, and some of those fragile links between Human versus Nature. This year, they started playing with the idea of having 12 electronic musicians from Canada translating their visions of the country while using the 4 seasons as a background. The response was so great that in 2 weeks they had a complete line-up ready to examine the influences of the landscape on them and the multiple cultures in which they live. Inspired by the environmental photography of Kendall Anderson, Geska gathered 12 artists from Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec city: Iszoloscope, Urusai, Squale, Displacer, S:Cage, L’Ombre, Prospero, LCEDP, Scott Fro, Liar’s Rosebush, PerfectionPlastic, Famine. Each song on this unique compilation addresses the power of certain landscape features to evoke memories, emotions, and anthropomorphic physicality. Some of the works suggest the potential for experience, while others even encourage physical interaction. This compilation comes in beautiful deluxe packaging.
